Konik

Exercise 7

Konik

From my understanding technological advancements are no longer in the process of making progress however has become self-sustaining which makes us no longer in direct control over the devices. The systems created run all by themselves for example the internet is a self-sufficient program of which we are responsible for. When new information is uploaded on the internet there is no way of controlling the spreading of that information whether it is text or image. The article also speaks of antagonists ‘the ghost’ that come another dimension and kills you through the use of technology. This could mean that we are killing ourselves with the use of technology being the focus.
Capitalists are compared to  as the ‘ghosts’ who has the ability to send technology out of control with them having to take the blame. Konik has also highlighted that the technology of today holds a strong hold on consumers. Contemporary culture finds depending on these technological devices for example many people believe that they would know what to do if they were not to have any technology around them.
