Exercise 3
The
Adidas logo appeals to me because of its simplicity in design and appearance.
The way in which the geometric shapes come together to form a mountain while it
remaining a flat Graphic. Making use of two colors black and white logo in white
on a black background or the other way around however they have applied another
color such as light blue which signifies freshness and clean. What’s also
appealing is how they made use of bold small letters font that compliments the
geometric shapes. The mountains relate to
sport women and men with the message that with Adidas they can succeed tough
obstacles.
Philosophy
Adidas
Adidas is a very
consumer focused company and strives to be the leading company in sportswear.
They continue to improve the highest quality that feels, look and image of
their products that exceed the expectations of consumers. Adidas seeks to help
athletes of all skill levels to reach their highest in performance with their
products. In order for Adidas to keep itself fully immersed to the sport
culture, style, and as a fashion trend the company has created three product
lines which are Adidas Original, Adidas Performance and Adidas Style. Adidas Original-
this line represents the very first of Adidas the three stripes a collection of
style and fashion such as Missy Elliot and Run DMC to football players such as
David Beckham. Adidas Style- the fashion group which focuses
on style that is fresh and clean by creating products closely linked with
sports that are high fashion and street fashion.
